The Training Center is affiliated with China Shipping Dalian Marine Transportation (Group) Company as YINGCAI, covering an area of 1,200 square meters, with a faculty of 78 and various kinds of facilities.

　　Besides the general courses of National Promotion Examination for Deck and Engine Officers, GMDSS, Intensive Electricity for Engine Officers, Intensive English Training, Professional Training for Deck and Engine Ratings, Welding Training Computer Operating, Onboard Cooking Training and New-comers Initiating Training,，the Center is also one of the three authorized organization in North-east China offering training courses of Familiarization with Basic Safety (A-VI/1), Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (A-VI/2-1), Advanced Fire Fighting (A-VI/3), Proficiency in Medical First Aid (A-VI/4A), Medical Care on Board (A-VI/4B) as well as Safety Operations Training for Personnel on Passenger & Ro-Ro Passenger Ships.

　　For further improving its teaching quality and complying with the requirements to seafarer training organizations set forward by IMO, the Center established Quality Management System carrying out an all-round quality control on its teaching and training activities.

　　In 1997, the Center compiled national seafarer training text-Safety Awareness and Management for Passenger and Ro-Ro Passenger Ships.

　　The Center has been awarded the title of Vocational Education Advanced Organization consecutively in the past 15 years, and appraised as Dalian A-Class Employee Training School.
